- Mar 30 · 19m The Borrower Is Slave To The Lender Get Out Of Debt NowDebt is a heavy weight. It is bondage. If you are in debt, then you are under someone else's thumb. You could be their slave. Not literally in today's world but definitely figuratively. You are working for them. Your income is going to pay that debt. You are a slave to the lender. Free yourself! Start working harder and get out of debt. Pay off your loans and stop working to pay off other people. Start working to pay your own bank account. Then, start giving some of that money away to help others. - Mar 2 · 25m There Can Be No Negativity In Your Life Muttering Vs MurmuringNegativity is toxic. There can be no negativity in your life. It is terrible for you and for those around you. You must listen! YOU MUST eliminate ALL negativity from your life. There's a reason the Bible tells you not to complain, grumble, argue, create conflict, et cetera. The reason is that it is toxic! Grumbling and complaining can lead to muttering, which is getting others involved and invested in your complaints. That often leads to rebellion or mutiny. None of this is good. It is unproductive and causes all kinds of harm. Of course, there is a time and place for everything. However, in general, you are to stay away from these negative acts and emotions. - Feb 23 · 21m It's God's Wisdom Be Ready To Receive ItWisdom and knowledge can be a burden. Soloman knew this, yet he still was very adamant that you need to get wisdom and knowledge even though it may cost you all you have. That means you need to be ready for it. You must be in the right state of mind. After all, if you're not, it could literally blow your mind. You could end up being taken away by the men in white jackets and locked up for good. How can you be ready for God's wisdom? Simple. Learn all you can about God through His Word, the Bible. Study the scriptures and talk to God. He will make sure you're ready. - Feb 16 · 19m Jesus The Builder Allow Him To Build A Strong Foundation In Your LifeMany people believe Jesus was a carpenter and that he worked with wood like the carpenters of today. However, Jesus was actually a builder. What did he build with? Think of the area in which Jesus lived. It was a desert. That means he most likely built with mud sort of like the builders of the pyramids. Jesus was a mason. Yes, he was probably skilled in many trades and most likely knew how to make furniture, boats, wood construction, bricklaying, et cetera. He was a builder. Allow him to build a strong foundation in your life. Be the foundation and let Jesus continue to build more on you! - Feb 9 · 19m Why Did Uzzah Die When He Touched The Ark Of The CovenantIn 2 Samuel Chapter 6, we learn about a man who touched the ark of the covenant and died instantly. God struck him down. Many people struggle with this. Why did poor Uzzah have to die? Wasn't he simply trying to help? Uzzah may have had good intentions. However, you know what they say about good intentions... Uzzah took matters into his own hands instead of trusting God. You need to remember, to trust God completely. Your life depends on it. - Feb 2 · 21m People Fall Away From Christ You Need To Bring Them BackTime and time again people fall away from God. They get too wrapped up in the world and forget what is most important. We see this all throughout the Bible and even in our lives today. This must not continue to happen! You need to be active in your faith. Make a conscious effort to stand firm in your walk with Christ. Read your Bible, talk to Jesus, fellowship with others and build that relationship. Then, focus on helping others who are not as strong as you. Seek out those who are falling away. The people who are allowing their light to dim. Help them. Reignite their light and help them shine! - Jan 19 · 21m Provide For Your Family And Those Around You - Part 1 of 2It is important that you provide for your family. Whether that means you are providing financially or through caregiving, you must provide for them. Of course, that means your own household. However, it also means providing for those around you. Friends, family, extended family, et cetera. Providing for all of your brothers and sisters in Christ may not be possible. However, ask God to help you provide and He will give you more as long as you are using what you have. - Jan 12 · 20m Pray For Others Faults And Accept That Only God Can Change ThemYou will never change someone. Accept that. Only God can change someone. Therefore, if you are struggling with another person, then ask God to help you. Pray for their faults and ask that God would show them right and wrong. In addition, pray for yourself. That you would have the strength to deal with them. You may also need to ask for the ability to be more accepting. In addition, ask God to make it clear that the error is on the other person and not you. No matter what. Ask God. He will take care of it for you. Trust Him. - Dec 29 · 23m God Uses Any Means Necessary To Lead People To Christ - Sermon Series Part 3 of 3If practicing astrology is a sinful art then why would God use a star to lead the wise men to Jesus? The answer is that God will use any means to bring people to Christ. After all, God provided the star. He didn't provide astrology. The fact that the magi practiced astrology with what God provided means that humans once again misused something God gave them. This is nothing new. God, as always, used that misdeed for good. He used it to lead them to Jesus. Not everyone was convinced to seek Jesus. However, some are better than none. - Dec 22 · 23m Why Did The Nativity Story Wise Men Travel So Far - Sermon Series Part 2 of 3The wise men that followed the star to find Jesus were magi. They practiced astrology, the act of divining the heavens. They used the stars to read signs and omens as well as a number of other sinful practices. Why would God provide a star during the time of Jesus' birth if He knew that people would interpret it using astrology? He did so because He knew the wise men would eventually follow it. - Dec 15 · 23m The Art Of Reading The Stars To Practice Astrology Is Wrong - Sermon Series Part 1 of 3You may know some constellations and possibly your Zodiac sign. You may also know that the phases of the moon have some effect on the earth as well as mammalian behavior. All of that is fine. However, if you begin to read the stars and practice astrology, or divining the heavens, then that is a sin. Remember that only God is divine. Therefore, if you attribute divination to the heavens and seek interpretations, omens, horoscopes, et cetera then you are worshiping a false god. - Dec 8 · 23m Honor Your Word And Let Yes Be Yes And No Be NoYour word is your bond. That is all you need. Don't swear oaths on anything. As a Christian, your word is already bound by Christ. Therefore, swearing an oath on something else means that you are putting your trust in something less than Christ. Don't do that. Of course, there may be times when you need to swear an earthly oath to hold an office or a position. That is okay. But you must remember who you represent when you do that. As a Christian, you represent Christ. Let you yes be yes, and your no be no. Jesus backs your word. You don't need to affirm it in any other way. - Nov 24 · 19m Be Quick To Listen Slow To Speak And Slow To Become AngryGod gave you two eyes, two ears, and one mouth. Therefore, you need to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. You need to watch and listen four times more than you speak. This can be very difficult. However, think how much Jesus listens to you. He listens to you A LOT. Make an effort to be more like Jesus and listen to others a little more often. It will do wonders in their lives.
