How do I claim my podcast?

On the left side of your podcast page you will find a ‘Claim Podcast’ button. By clicking this, you will receive an email from us with a unique code to claim your podcast. NOTE: If you are using Anchor, or any other platform that has a default email, you will need to change it to something that you have access to!

My podcast is missing episodes?

Accepted Answer

Podcasts with subscribers have priority when it comes to getting indexed more frequently. If you have claimed your podcast, you should start getting subscribers to ensure it is indexed every 30 minutes.

I didn’t receive my podcast claim email?

Accepted Answer

Make sure you have access to the email provided in the RSS feed. If you are still having problems, please contact support and we can manually link your podcast to your profile.

I don’t have a ‘Host’ badge on my profile?

We update badges daily. Once you have claimed your podcast, a badge should appear on your profile within 24 hours.

My thumbnail isn't updating?

Accepted Answer

Thumbnails will be updated within 24 hours if your podcast has subscribers. Otherwise, it can take around 7 days.

The audio on my episodes isn't working?

Accepted Answer

Audio is updated if the URL changes, so try to avoid making changes to your audio ULR. Only change the underlying audio file not the URL.

How do I remove a duplicated podcast?

Accepted Answer

If your podcast is duplicated make sure you have a newUrl property in your RSS feed. We will make the newUrl property the new RSS feed for your podcast. Subscribers, comments and plays will migrate with that.
