Many podcast hosting platforms and directories publish weekly (or monthly) lists of featured shows and editors picks. If you haven't seen an example before, they're a bit like those curated Spotify or Apple Music playlists that show up on your homepage.
The editorial team at Podvine is always looking for new and exciting podcasts to feature on our homepage. Each week, we choose podcasts to feature on the homepages of our app and website. Podcasts that get selected are given a place of honor—they're the first thing users see when they open Podvine!
To be in with the chance of getting featured, all you need to do is:
Claim Your Show: To claim a show that's already hosted on Podvine, simply search for it via the search bar and click the “Request Claim Code” button. You’ll receive the code via the email associated with your RSS feed. Click on the “Enter Claim Code” button. Alternatively, to claim an unhosted show, you can add by following this link.
Backlink To Podvine: Next, you'll need to add a “Listen on Podvine” button to your website. You can do this by following this guide.
Get Followers: Once the button is added, you'll need to start spreading the word about your podcast. To be featured on Podvine, you only need 10 subscribers!
Contact Customer Service: Once you've met all the requirements above, all you need to do is reach out to Podvine's customer support team. We'll take care of the rest!
If you have a Podvine profile, then you’ll also have a personal link unique to your podcast. You can find yours on the app by tapping the settings button in the top right corner of your page and choosing “Share Profile Link”.
By sharing this link, you can let your friends, family, and followers know where they can find you. This helps to build your personal follower base within the app and creates that initial buzz around your content.
While there isn't a hard-and-fast rule about which (and how many) social media platforms you need to use, common sense dictates that more is better. The more channels you have available for interacting with your audience, the more growth potential your show has.

Commenting is a great way to generate genuine engagement and to grow your listeners organically. Unfortunately, there aren't many podcast platforms that allow listeners and creators to have conversations… except for Podvine!
Starting a conversation in your comments section allows you to build an active community around your content. You can ask your listeners a question, tag your subscribers, and even ask for feedback. Once you’ve got replies, you can continue the dialogue and start to build deeper connections with your audience.
It’s also a great idea to share the love and comment on others’ podcasts, perhaps highlighting a favorite moment or offering advice.
Podvine is a community, and we love to reward users who interact with each other! When you connect with others on the platform (through subscribing, commenting, tagging, etc.), you will earn Karma which will be visible for you at the top of your profile.
